MassArt students, faculty, and staff have access to an extensive image database called ARTstor, which contains over 1 million high-quality digital images.  If you’re looking for images in the areas of art, architecture, humanities, or social sciences ARTstor is a great place to start.   Accessing and searching for images  in ARTstor is easy!  Simply link to it through the Visual Resources Library homepage, or find it listed amongst other MassArt library databases.  ARTstor continues to add to their vast collection, and some of the newest additions include: contemporary artworks from the Larry Qualls archive, Asian Art  images from the University of Michigan Asian Art Photographic Distribution (AADP), and images from the Carnegie Institution of Washington Photographs of Mayan Excavations.  For general information about these collections or others, visit ARTstor’s overview page.
