What I found particularly striking about this film was how human and how familiar Jones’ creative process was. It was inspiring and, in many way, comforting to see such a celebrated dancer and choreographer struggle to bring his vision to life. It’s a wonderful reminder of the common path that artists of every kind are travel–that the work we strive to create is rarely easy, but it is always worth it in the end.
